Уже отчаялся - третий день гуглю и пишу на всяких форумах в том числе MS, но ответов не может тут кто поможет
Установил Windows 7, настроил сеть - все работало. Установил все обновления. На следующий день в диспетчере устройств появилось какое-то сетевое устройство teredo tunneling pseudo-interface, и связь начала систематически пропадать.
Все работает минут 10-15 хотя иногда может работать и 5 минут, а иногда и 2 часа, потом без всяких уведомлений об ошибке локальная сеть и интернет перестают работать, в трее сначало ничего не отображается, а потом появляется желтый треугольник с восклицательным знаком, и в Центре управления сетями в цепочке Компьютер-Сеть-Интернет между Компьютером и Сетью тоже этот треугольник, хотя диагностика неполадок не находит проблемы. Приходится переподключать сетевой адаптер, и заново соединяться. И так по 10 раз за час.
Я удалил устройство teredo tunneling pseudo-interface из диспетчера устройств - теперь оно больше не появляется, я читал что это устройство или служба как-то связана с IPv6, я пользуюсь IPv4. Выключил IPv6 в том числе и в реестре. Пробовал /kb/220874 - не помогло.
PS до этого год пользовался Vista Ultimate 32-bit, с этим же софтом - таких проблем не было.

Врядли это из-за протокола Teredo, тем более что вы отключили IPv6 и это не помогло. Скорее всего дело в сетевой карте, а именно в её драйверах.
1. Попробуйте обновить драйвер. Кстати какая у вас сетевая карта?
2. В свойствах сетевой карты запретите экономию электроэнергии что-то типа отключать данное устройство для экономии электроэнергии.
3. Залочьте скорость сетевой карты вместо Autoselect выберите 100MB HalfDuplex.

3 Дрова под эту сетевуху под W7 на сайте д-линка отсутствуют: они пишут установить дрова до установки сетевухи, я скачал последние под Visty, удалил сетевуху, вытащил ее, установил драйвера, потом вставил ее и запустился - в начале так же определилось новое устройство и OC снова поставила свои дрова.
У меня так было когда был спутниковый инет.Замучил, тока 7ка 64.

Если вы абсолютно не уверены, что всё ваше оборудование поддерживает и корректно поддерживает FullDuplex, то лучше его не использовать. Иначе можно получить просто шикарные глюки. Да и в вашей ситуации вы отличия по производительности между этими режимами не заметите. А кучу потенциальных проблем использую HalfDuplex уберете.

С сетевухами D-Link не работал. Из встроенных возникали проблемы только у Marvell, у всех остальных если и были, то лечились обновлением драйверов и вышеуказанными рекомендациями.
Так что с Atheros проблем вроде быть не должно.
Да, дело вроде в драйверах. Под мою сетевуху на W7 нету дров, так что переустановка дров мне не помогала, OC ставила свои дрова. мне подсказали что в Майкрософте программеры корявые и дело именно в их дрова мне привели хитрый способ залочить автоматическую установку и протолкнуть драйвера от Висты, но я сначало решил попробовать на встроенной, и как результат - иду на рекорд, уже 5 часов все работает
современные встроенные карты ничем не уступают бюджетным отдельным сетевым картам, а если учесть, что портов на материнках сейчас мало делают, то занимать ещё один сетевой картой - это уже роскошь
Думаю, отлично у Вас встроенная будет работать.
