Таким образом, получается расширенное звуковое пространство. Конечно, в рамках некоторых наших материалов мы обсуждали возможность создания фантомных каналов за счет взаимодействия реальных между собой например, в стереосистеме вы отчетливо слышите центр, но его реально не существует. Но эти решения не для Dolby, поскольку им нужна прежде всего ясность и надежность.
То есть, если нужен центр, то есть центральный канал, который воспроизводится определенной колонкой. Это исключает множество вопросов. А почему они так делают? Просто представьте себе зрителя в кинотеатре, который сидит не строго по центру, а где-нибудь сбоку. В последнее время стали распространяться новые накопители и носители информации, созданные по технологиям Blu-Ray SACD и HD-DVD. Они позволяют хранить гораздо большие объемы информации. В результате можно не только максимально улучшить качество звука, но и расширить его в плане количества каналов. Поскольку максимальным на сегодня является вариант 7.1, то он и берется за основу. Еще на чем стоит заострить внимание - цифровое вещание. Как уже многие знают, стандарт Dolby Digital взят в качестве звуковой основы для DVB. На данный момент появилась необходимость апгрейда и этих технологий.
Если описывать очень обще и простыми словами более подробно вы можете прочитать на, то кодирование из системы 7.1 происходит следующим образом: из восьми каналов формируются три блока данных. Первый содержит смикшированный стереовариант, два остальных являются как бы блоками расширения, один из которых - Extension A - хранит в себе данные 3.1, которые потом будут необходимы для восстановления системы до 5.1, а второй - Extension B - дополнительные два канала расширения, которые нужны для создания из полученного 5.1 многоканальности 7.1. Многие могут подумать, что это обычное разбиение на каналы, что неверно, поскольку, например, в двух добавочных каналах Extension B хранится информация не только для тыловых колонок, но и для пространственных боковых. А смикшированное стерео плюс 3.1 не дает в итоге 5.1 без специального декодера. В принципе, тут можно проследить аналогию со структурой работы по стандарту Dolby Digital, который является масштабируемым в плане количества каналов, но требует специальных модулей кодирования/декодирования. То есть, как говорится в документации: It all works nicely - on paper Это все работает хорошо - на бумаге. При декодировании в рамках Dolby Digital Plus пользователь, например, выбирает стерео, и ему воспроизводится только основной двухканальный вариант. Если же он захочет 5.1, то на специальном модуле, который назовем Rematrix 23.1, сводятся и декодируются основное стерео и добавочный 3.1. Самое сложное при выборе 7.1 - когда основной и два добавочных блока декодируются сначала в Rematrix 23.1, а потом дополнительно еще и в Rematrix 5.12.
Данный метод разбиения работает без проблем, если используется сжатие аудио без потерь MLP Lossless, а в варианте использования lossy- компрессии, основанной на психоакустических моделях, могут возникнуть проблемы с так называемой размаскировкой кодера coder unmasking, то есть становятся слышны артефакты алгоритмов сжатия. Поэтому в рамках Dolby Digital Plus предусмотрено и другое функциональное разбиение - на поток 5.1 и дополнительный. В будущем этих дополнительных может быть сразу несколько, и 5.1 без труда расширяемо до 9.1, но в реалиях мы можем говорить пока только о варианте с 7.1, поскольку он наиболее близок в перспективах. При этом пространственные каналы боковые являются композитными, то есть сочетают в себе информацию как из 5.1, так и из дополнительных каналов расширения. То есть, если, простыми словами, вы делаете надстройку или новый ярус над существующей системой. Такое функциональное разбиение выгодно и тем, что практически остается технология 5.1, то есть Dolby Digital, которая поддерживается множеством уже существующей техники, а новые устройства уже смогут воспроизводить и более полную информацию.
